Karakoram Area Development Organization (KADO) is hiring for the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Gilgit-Baltistan

KADO, a hybrid not-for-profit organization blending modern and indigenous approaches for sustainable development, is seeking a visionary and dynamic leader for the role of Chief Operating Officer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Work with senior management in setting program targets and goals.
• Supervise timely implementation, and ensure efficient delivery of targets.
• Oversee Monitoring & Evaluation, Administration and Procurement, IT, Communications, and program-related functions.
• Provide support to various sections at the Core office during the absence of the CEO.
• Provide the required input to inform decisions that the organization makes related to programs and any other functions.
• Assist in developing strategies and programs, support audits & ensure compliance for program integrity.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s (Hons) Degree with a minimum of 6-7 years experience. Advanced Degree will be an advantage
• Excellent management, relationship-building, networking, and communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively
• Resourcefulness in setting priorities and solving complex operational problems
• Experience in creating and managing budgets
Highly skilled at staff management, coaching, and development
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
