Hunza Serena Hotel is looking for a Chief of Security for its hotels in Karimabad, Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan with 10-12 years of professional experience. The application deadline is 10 March 2024.
Responsibilities
1. Work closely with business managers to understand business requirements related to security & mapping these requirements to current
security projects. To assist, coordinate and communicate with other Division / Department Heads pertaining to security matters.
2. Develop, implement and manage the overall process for security strategy at HSH & Other Northern Serena Properties
3. Develop and implement policies, standards and guidelines related to Property security needs.
4. Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of facilities and personnel across all Serena North Hotels
5. Investigate and evaluate actual and suspected breaches of security and recommend corrective actions.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
7. Continuously assess the risks and vulnerabilities to the business and implement safeguard recommendations.
8. Establish and monitor formal certification programs regarding best practice security standards relating to the planned acquisition and / or
procurement of new applications or technologies.
9. Assist in the development of, and be the champion of, a security awareness and training program aimed at all associates.
10. Evaluate changes to the business and threat environment for security impact and present findings to management.
11. Act as protector and guardian of guests, associates, property, assets, equipment and reputation of hotel & business complex.
12. To act as an advisor to the senior management on all security related matters.
13. To make recommendations on improvements & new ideas pertaining to security measures.
14. Initiate and organize emergency drills on regular basis.
15. To supervise investigations of cases like theft, pilferage, defaults, fighting or any other disturbances to the hotel’s security.
16. To ensure that all the security equipment is well maintained & is in good working condition.
17. Security training need assessment is carried out & all associates are well trained to carry out their job with their best abilities.
18. To ensure compliance of all Security Policies.
19. To maintain a high motivational level among the associates.
