Hunza Serena Hotel is looking for a Health Safety and Environment Manager for its hotels in Karimabad, Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan with 10-12 years of professional experience. The application deadline is 10 March 2024.

Responsibilities

-Heading the department and making sure the Health & Safety practices are being followed.
2-Liason with external authorities related to Environment Health and Safety.
3-Keeping track of trainings and the implementation of policies and procedures.
4-Identify training needs related to Health Safety & Environment Discipline.
5-Assisting with the development of the H&S policies, procedures, reports, audits and compliance.
6-Performing periodic work site visits and inspections to various construction and maintenance projects to ensure all required health and
safety protocols and procedures are followed.
7-Overseeing the administrative process to ensure all departments have up to date and required policies and job hazard assessments at all
times as per compliance regulations.
8-Completion of daily required tracking and documentation on activities, site inspections, and required legislative compliance research and
reports along with entering related safety information into required databases.
9- Facilitation of required safety training programs and courses including Fire Safety, Risk Assessment, Environment Awareness and First
Aid
10-Being called upon to assist with H&S emergency situations and required meetings with the ability to convey and follow required OH&S
legislation to senior management.
11-Acting as a health and safety leader when dealing with coworkers while demonstrating a high standard of safety conduct, behavior, and
attitude towards a positive and safe work place culture.
12-Outline and follow risk hazard reports critically on weekly basis.
13-To monitor the requirements and their compliance in regard to Health and Safety Standard, ISO14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001.
14-Act as a leader and coordination regarding planning organizing and monitoring all steps required to implement the ISO and WWF Green
office requirements
15- To conduct strategic data analysis related to HSE reports for continuous improvement.
16- To arrange CSR activities related to Environment on annual basis.
17- To prepare OHS Monthly report and to identify the work-related hazards and their mitigations.
18-To ensure the Fire Safety Equipment of the Hotel is being monitored and updated by the relevant department.
19-Time to time the reporting line may assign tasks related to the H&S discipline or field not listed specifically in this document.
20-Acting as liaison for all the Q&C activities.
21-To develop and implement the SOPs related to any health pandemic.
